Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Department was established in the year 2009. It is one of the founding department of the institution.Harnessing electrical energy is the challenge for electrical engineers. The power packed EEE department inspires the budding Electrical Engineers with the potent idea of constructing Generating Stations, Transmission Lines and Distribution Systems at economic rates and to design, test and supervise the manufacture of Electrical and Electronic equipments used in electrical utilities, buildings, automobiles, air-crafts, radar, navigation system and broadcast and communication systems.

Electrical engineering is considered to deal with the problems associated with large- scale electrical systems such as power transmission and motor control, whereas electronic engineering deals with the study of small-scale electronic systems including computers and integrated circuits. Alternatively, Electrical engineers are usually concerned with using electricity to transmit energy, while electronic engineers are concerned with using electricity to process information. More recently, the distinction has become blurred by the growth of power electronics.

Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of differential equations, vector calculus, complex variables, matrix theory, probability theory, physics, chemistry and electrical and electronics engineering. Graduates will demonstrate ability to identify, formulate and solve electrical engineering problems. Graduates will demonstrate ability to design electrical and electronic circuits and conduct experiments with electrical systems, analyze and interpret data. Graduates will demonstrate an ability to design digital and analog systems and component. Graduates will demonstrate ability to visualize and work on laboratory and multidisciplinary tasks. Graduates will demonstrate skills to use modern engineering tools, software and equipment to analyze problems. Graduates will demonstrate knowledge of professional and ethical responsibilities. Graduates will be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Graduates will show the understanding of impact of engineering solutions on the society and also will be aware of contemporary issues. Graduates will develop confidence for self education and ability for life-long learning. Graduates will able to participate and succeed in competitive examinations like GATE, GRE.
